Launch: Core Gig Tracking
Every gigging performer has the same post-gig routine: update the spreadsheet, guess the mileage, work out the commission, figure out what you're actually owed. Some do it in Google Sheets. Some do it in the Notes app. Some don't do it at all and panic in January.
Gigflow replaces all of that. One app, built specifically for UK freelance performers.
What launched
The core of Gigflow covers everything a working performer needs to stay on top of the business side of gigging. Add a gig with a date, venue, and fee. Gigflow finds the venue address via Google Places, calculates the round-trip mileage from your home, and applies the correct HMRC rate — 45p per mile for the first 10,000 miles, 25p after that.
Set up your agencies once with their commission structure — flat fee, percentage, or tiered rules — and Gigflow calculates your net fee on every gig automatically. No more mental arithmetic after a late-night drive home.
Share your calendar with deps, bandmates, or partners using a privacy-controlled link that shows dates and venues but never your fees.
What's included
Gig diary with calendar view. Venue database with saved addresses and distances. Agency management with flat, percentage, and tiered commission rules. Automatic mileage calculation at HMRC rates. Shared calendar links with privacy controls. April-to-April tax year alignment throughout.
Why we built it
Gigflow started because Lillie — a working vocalist performing 50+ gigs a year — was drowning in post-gig admin. Spreadsheets for income, a separate app for mileage, WhatsApp threads for agency details, guesswork for commission. Every performer we spoke to had the same setup. We built the app we wished existed.
